Airapuram Bhagavathy Temple

Airapuram Bhagavathy temple is positioned in Airapuram, Ernakulam district in the state of Kerala, India. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Shakthi. The temple is built in the classic Kerala style of architecture. The goddess Kali is supposed to be the epitome of fervor and ferocity. Devotees who want to be successful worship Goddess Kali as she is the ultimate source of energy vitality. The major festival celebrated in this temple falls on the Bharani day of the Malayalam month of Kumbam. The second major festival is Pathamudayam, celebrating the victory of Goddess Kali over the demon Darika.

The main offering here is Garudan Thookam. Every year more than 250 Garudan Thookam will be presented by the devotees.

Temple is opened from 4 AM to 11.30 AM and from 5 PM to 8.30 PM.
