Guptesvara Shiva Temple

Guptesvara Shiva Temple is located in Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India. Bhubaneswar was known as Kapileswara in old times. It was built in the 14-15th century A.D. This temple is famous for its Linga. People pray to lord Shiva and offer Bili Patras on the divine and holy linga in the morning time.

In this temple, devotees worship to Lord Shiva as the ultimate incarnation and the creator. The linga is located in the centre of the temple in a circular shape. At present time, the local people of the village manage its beauty by forming a Kapilesvara Temple Trust Board.
