Neendoor Subramanyaswamy Temple

The temple celebrates the Aarattu festival in a grand manner with thousand of devotees gathering on this special occasion. This festival is takes place in the month of April or May. During this festival time, the temple is beautifully adorned and illuminated with lights and colorful events. Thaipoosam is also an important day for Subramanya Swamy and this is celebrated on Medashasti day.

The major ritual performed in the temple is Ottanarangamala Samarpanam. Poojas performed in the temple include Palliunarthal, Nirmaliyam, Ucha pooja, Attazhapooja, Deeparadhana and Ganapathy Homam.

The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Subramanyaswamy. His background is filled with gold plated ornate and he is seen in his furious form here. He is also known as the Devasenathipathi.
