The temple celebrates the Aarattu festival in a grand manner with thousand of devotees gathering on this special occasion. This festival is takes place in the month of April or May. During this festival time, the temple is beautifully adorned and illuminated with lights and colorful events. Thaipoosam is also an important day for Subramanya Swamy and this is celebrated on Medashasti day.
