Deities

The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Shiva, facing the east side. Since the form of the deity is Rowdra Bhava, a deity of Lord Vishnu was installed later to reduce the anger of Lord Shiva. Other deities of the temple include Goddess Parvati, Lord Ganesha, Lord Subramanya, Lord Ayyappa and Goddess Bhadrakali. Besides, Brahmarakshas were also installed in the temple.
