Sarkaradevi Temple

Kaliyoottu is the major festival celebrated in the temple which falls on the Malayalam month of Kumbham. Kaliyoot is the dramatic presentation of the genesis of Mother Kali and darika, representing the good and evil respectively. Meenabharani is the second major festival celebrated in the temple.

The presiding deity of the temple is Goddess Kali. Poojas performed in the temple include Ganapathy Homam, Ashthadravya Ganapathi homam, Raktha Pushpanjali and Ashtothara-Archana.
